Cincinnati, Ohio
I lived in Cincinnati, Ohio from 2012-2014. It was here that my photography journey began. I was taken by the Italianate architectural style in downtown Cincinnati and the contrast of the quickly changing face of Over-the-Rhine. During my time here, I encountered a vibrant community, including many facing eviction or homelessness. I was grateful for the opportunity to follow inspiring vendors of StreetVibes magazine alongside the Homeless Coalition, witnessing their resilience firsthand. Walking through Cincinnati’s many neighborhoods, I found a sense of community in unexpected places. This series captures some of the faces and places that define the city.
