New York/New Jersey
I lived in New Jersey and New York twice, for a total of six years. The city was chaos—but the kind of chaos I thrived in. New York gave me so much love, and in return, I gave it the admiration it deserved. Inspiration surrounded me from every angle. The challenge, however, was that I never had the time to truly explore it, as I was always caught up in the rush of work and life. The city moved at the speed of a bullet train, and it was hard to get off. I loved the people and the relentless energy of the city. It was the diversity of voices from all over the world that made New York so powerful. Through my lens, I was always drawn to the faces that made this city what it is.
